Build A Bear Fun

We don’t do Build A Bear unless the kids receive a gift card or choose to spend gift money there.  It’s been a while since we were there, and the kids have been itching to go.  With that in mind, I added Build A Bear gift cards to their Christmas list.  All three kids were blessed with 3 gift cards (wow!), so we made a fun trip to the mall during Christmas vacation.

This was Jensyn’s first opportunity to make her own Build A Bear, so she was SUPER excited and just a bit giddy!  She has watched her brothers do it before, so she knew just what to do!

Our sweet and silly little girl chose to do an Anna bear with an Elsa dress.  She had enough on her gift card to get the bear, a Frozen song button, dress, and panties.  (Leave it to a little girl to be proud that her bear has panties, hee hee!)

Jensyn was so cute & sweet that everyone around us was smiling and talking about her…she was just oh-so-excited to make her first bear!

Alex has been itching to make a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, so he got his Mikey, complete with sound and weapons.  He also got a Batman costume for a bear he already owns.

Max got a Spiderman bear, but since there were no Spiderman sounds available, he chose to put the Star Wars song in a Spiderman bear.  He opted for no clothes, as he liked his bear just as it is.  Because of this, he’s still carrying enough on his gift card to get another bear sometime!  I was really surprised that he was able to restrain himself & save the rest for another trip.  That was a rather mature decision, and I’m impressed!
